Trick-or-Treat Monster Tag – Spellbinders Craftoween Day 9

Today’s tag features the Day 9 dies from the Spellbinders 13 Days of Craftoween 2025 Advent Calendar. This set could even be used for birthday gift tag. Just omit the Jack-o-lantern. A monster theme is a pretty common kid birthday theme. This tag even looks a little more birthday than Halloween because of the colors I used.

As with all my other Craftoween tags, I used my Essential Arches dies from Spellbinders for the tag shape. Using the 7th largest die, I cut the tag from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb cardstock. Then I grabbed my Simple Strips stamp from Spellbinders to create the back. I stamped first with Harbour ink from Concord & 9th using my Misti Stamping tool. Then I moved the stamp and stamped in Lemongrass ink also from Concord & 9th. Then I grabbed my Crop-a-Dile Eyelet punch to attach a white eyelet for my ribbon.

I die cut my monster and other pieces from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb cardstock. Then I grabbed more Concord and 9th inks to ink blend. Those colors are listed below.

I decided to make the pitchfork a lollipop for this tag. I assembled all my die cuts and then adhered to my tag using liquid glue.

My sentiment was stamped using Versafine Onyx Black ink and the sentiment set that came in the kit. Then I fussy cut that out because I just liked that look but you could absolutely just trim with a paper trimmer if that’s easier. I popped that up on some foam tape and then added some orange gems as embellishments. I have no idea where they’re from because my MIL got them for me.

I chose 5 ribbons from my stash that coordinated well with my tag. I’ve linked a ribbon bundle similar to one I have down below. I fed 4 of those through my eyelet and then used the orange polka dot ribbon to tie those off into a knot. That completed this cute little monster tag!
