Sugar Skull Flower Halloween Gift Tag – Spellbinders Craftoween Day 10

I’m back with Day 10 of the Spellbinders 13 Days of Craftoween 2025 Advent Calendar. This time we have a cute little sugar skull flower. This tag came together pretty quickly and I love the bright colors.

I started with my tag base which was created using the Spellbinders Essential Arches die set. I used the 7th largest die to cut an arch from patterned paper and also Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb cardstock. I adhered the patterned paper tag to the white tag with liquid to create some additional support.

Next I die cut the flower from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb cardstock. I ink blended using Concord & 9th inks which I have listed below.

I assembled the flower using the liquid glue and then added silver gemstones to the eyes and the flower on the skull. The small purple flower is from the Little Blooms die set from Spellbinders.

Using my Crop-a-Dile Eyelet Punch, I attached a blue eyelet to my tag base. Then I adhered the flower using liquid glue. My sentiment is from the Halloween Icons Press Plate and Die set from Spellbinders. I hot foiled the sentiments previously with black foil from Altenew. I just grabbed one of those sentiments and adhered with foam tape. The embellishments I used are the Ladybug Spots from Trinity Stamps which are also adhered with liquid glue.

For the final touch, I took six coordinating ribbons from my stash. I fed five through the eyelet and then tied those off with the orange polka dot ribbon. I trimmed the ends of each ribbon and my tag was done!
