Cute Ghost Halloween Tag – Spellbinders Craftoween Day 4

I’m back with a tag from the Day 4 die set in the Spellbinders 13 Days of Craftoween 2025 Advent Calendar. This cute little ghost is going to brighten someone’s day. The only non-Craftoween die I used on this tag was from the Halloween Wonder die set from Spellbinders. I took lollipop from that set because I didn’t want to use the pizza slice that came with the Day 4 dies. It just felt more treat-bag appropriate to use a lollipop. No one wants a slice of pizza in their Halloween treat bag.

I used the 7th largest die in the Spellbinders Essential Arches die set to cut an arch from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb cardstock and also from a piece of Stampin’ Up patterned paper I’ve had for years. I glued the patterned paper to the white cardstock piece for extra stability. Then I punched a 3/18″ hole into that to create my tag using my Crop-a-Dile Eyelet and Snap Punch. I added a black eyelet with the same punch tool. You could just punch a hole in your tag and leave it as is but I like the extra stability the eyelet gives. Less chance of ripping the tag when you add ribbon….if you add as much as I do.

Next, I cut all my die cut pieces from various colors of cardstock scraps. I’ve really been trying to use my scraps more lately and tags are perfect because you aren’t using a ton of cardstock for those. I assembled the die cuts and then determined how I wanted to place them on my tag. Once I was happy with my design, I adhered those down with liquid glue. The sentiment is from the stamp set included in the Craftoween box. I just grabbed an acrylic block and stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black ink then used scissors to fussy cut that out.

I added some black rhinestones as embellishments. These are also from Stampin’ Up that I’ve had for years. I have quite the stockpile of Stampin’ Up products because that was my gateway into paper crafting and I just bought all the things. My demonstrator loved to see me coming. 😂

After popping on some embellishments, I grabbed some ribbon in some coordinating colors and fed that through my eyelet then tied into a knot. This tag came together very quickly and I think it’s super cute. I can’t wait to put it on a bag of Halloween goodies.
