Adorable Skeleton Tag – Spellbinders Craftoween Day 6

It’s Day 6 of the Spellbinders 13 Days of Craftoween Advent Calendar. This time we have a cute little skeleton! I love this one because it’s like he’s wearing his Halloween costume and going trick-or-treating with his little cauldron. Adorable.

I started by die cutting all my pieces from cardstock scraps. I used the banner die from Day 4 as my sentiment on this tag. The skeleton has quite a few pieces to assemble and a few really tiny bits you have to be sure not to lose. I kept it really simple and used just three colors.

My tag is of course from the Essential Arches die set from Spellbinders. I used the 7th largest die to cut from patterned paper as well as Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb for some sturdiness. I adhered those together using liquid glue. Then, with my Crop-a-dile Eyelet Punch, I punched a 3/16″ hole in the top center of my tag and then attached a white eyelet.

I assembled my die cuts with liquid glue and then popped my skeleton up with some foam squares. I adhered the banner with liquid glue to the top left of the tag and then applied some teal enamel embellishments I’ve had on hand for a while from Stampin’ Up.

My ribbon is an assortment of Stampin’ Up retired ribbon and some white twine. I fed that through my eyelet and the tied off with a knot. This was probably the least time-consuming of all my tags because I kept it so simple. You could throw this one together in a flash.

I hope you’re enjoying these tags from the Spellbinders 13 Days of Craftoween Advent Calendar. For my process video, check out my YouTube channel below. Thanks for stopping by today. Now go get crafty!
