Hi friends! Today’s card features more earthy, muted tones which is perfect for my guy. I swear his favorite color is brown. Plus, it’s a shaker! I’m using the Wide Leaf Shaker dies plus a few other products from the Pretty Pink Posh September 2026 release. Let me walk you through how I pulled this together.

First, I made my plaid background using the Layered Windowpane Plaid stencil. I used Fresh Dye inks from Altenew in the colors Cloudy Sky, Nimbus, and Deep Spice. My cardstock panel is a piece of Pebble cardstock from Concord & 9th cut to 4 x 5 1/4 inches. The stencil is a little tricky to keep in place because of the thin lines of stencil material so I suggest using some low-tack adhesive to hold it down but I like the uneven lines I got on mine.

Next, I took that stenciled panel and cut my leaf window using the Wide Leaf Shaker die. Then I cut an outline stitched leaf from Pebble cardstock. Using double-sided tape, I adhered a piece of acetate to the back of the panel behind the leaf cutout. Then I turned the panel over and placed the outline into the space on top of the acetate with liquid glue. To create my shaker well, I used some Gina K Shaker Strips.

For the shaker bits, I used Espresso Confetti Mix, 6mm Marshmallow Sequins, and 6mm Onyx Sequins all from Pretty Pink Posh. I like mixing up the contents of my shaker for extra interest. Once my well was filled to my liking, I removed the backers from the shaker strips and added some liquid glue on top of the foam for a little extra wiggle while I aligned my panel onto a card base of Gina K Designs In the Navy.

I wanted some extra bits on the front so I used the Fall Holder Additions dies to cut some acorns and leaves. I’ll use some on the inside of my card as well. I ink blended those with the same colors I used for the plaid background and then arranged on the front of my card as shown above. I popped up the little acorn on some foam squares. My sentiment is from the Turkey Friends stamp set. I stamped onto a white cardstock strip and the cut down to size with my paper trimmer. It was a little too bright as just the white so I ink blended with a little Evening Gray ink around the edges to grunge it up and knock back the white. I embellished with the same espresso sequins I used inside the shaker.

On the inside, I used a mat of Pebble cardstock cut to 4 by 5 1/4 inches then glued a piece of white cardstock on top of that. That piece measures 3 3/4 by 5 inches. I adhered my additional acorn and leaf die cuts in the bottom right corner and then adhered the full panel to the inside of my card base with liquid glue.
