Fall Card in Plums and Pinks – Pretty Pink Posh

Today’s card is part of the Pretty Pink Posh September 2026 release video hop. This release is FULL of fall goodies and I’ll have a few projects featuring some of the products in this release. Today’s card features the Acorn Shaker Die. Obviously this card is not a shaker but stay tuned because I will have a shaker project coming soon! I also used the Stitched Leaves die set which I LOVE! I’m a sucker for a fall foliage die.

I die cut all my pieces from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb cardstock and then added ink blending. I used Altenew Fresh Dye inks and I have then listed below. For the leaves, I chose two to three colors and blended different sections of each leaf, making sure I overlapped my blending.

For my card base, I used some Stampin’ Up cardstock I’ve had on hand for a while. The color is Sahara Sand but a nearly identical match is Pebble from Concord & 9th. Then I cut a piece of Fresh Fig (similar to Plumberry from Concord & 9th) cardstock from Stampin’ Up to 4 x 5 1/4 inches. I used that as a mat for the Chiffon cardstock I cut to 3 3/4 by 5 inches.

To my leaves and Chiffon panels for the front and inside of my card, I added some splatter with Titanium White gouache that I tinted with a Sahara Sand reinker. I also added splatter to leaves I cut and ink blended for the inside of my card from the Fall Holder Additions die.

For my sentiment, I stamped on a scrap of white cardstock with Evening Gray ink. The sentiment is from the Happy Fall stamp set and coordinating dies. I assembled the front of my card using liquid glue to adhered the leaves and then foam tape/squares for my acorn and sentiment. For a little extra embellishment, I added a bow to the stem of the acorn and then gold sequins around my sentiment and focal image.

As I mentioned earlier, I used the Fall Holder Additions die set to cut some elements for the inside of my card. I chose a few leaves and an acorn to keep with the theme on the front. I ink blended those the same as my images on the front and adhered those down with liquid glue. My inside panel was splaterred with the tinted goache I used on the card front. I did not add an additional sentiment to the inside because I liked the way it looked without.

I hope you liked this card. The colors a little non-traditional for fall but I always enjoy the leaves that have the plum and pink hues. If you’d like to see the video, you can check that out on my Hidden River Creative YouTube channel linked below. Thanks for stopping by today. Now go get crafty!
