4 Beautiful Gift Tags - Concord & 9th Lovely Blossoms -

I’m back to share another Turnabout stamp project using the leftover hexagon die cuts from my previous cards. This time I’m making some gift tags. Honestly, I could package the cards and tags up together as a gift. I might just do that!

I’m glad I saved the hexagon pieces from my Lovely Blossoms cards I made. They made gorgeous tags but you could also use them on cards. I cut four additional white hexagon from white cardstock and then eight gold hexagon frames from Altenew Brushed Gold cardstock. I also cut the sentiment from brushed gold for one layer and then two additional layers cut from In The Navy from Gina K Designs.

I added some gold splatter using the Tsukineko Vegas Gold ink. I just added a couple sprays of alcohol and splattered it on. That allowed it to dry pretty quickly. Once dry, I adhered my sentiments to the stamped hexagon with liquid glue.

For my gold frames, I carefully adhered two together, back to back, so that you could see the gold frame from the front and back of the tag. This gave me four frames in the end. Then I sandwich that gold frame between the stamped piece and the white backer. I used Altenew Double-Sided Sticky Tape on the back of each hexagon and then offset the gold frame as shown in the photo.

Using my Crop-a-Dile Eyelet Punch, I punched a hole in each tag and added a white eyelet. Then I grabbed some coordinating ribbon and cute a few strands of each to finish off the tags. There was a lot of gold happening on these tags so I didn’t add any sparkly embellishments. Instead I just cut some extra hearts from In The Navy cardstock scraps and used those as embellishments. They kind of blend in but still added some detail.

Those were some quick and easy tags just using my leftovers from my cards and now I have coordinating tags. I could package these up with the cards and give them as a gift!
