Halloween Card – Using Spellbinders Halloween Wreath Add Ons
Hey there! The fun continues with this Halloween card using the Halloween Wreath Add Ons die set from Spellbinders. Yall, Halloween is my absolute favorite and, apologies, but August 1 is when I start getting into my fall vibes. Is it still 1000 degrees out? Yes. Listen, this August heat is like a toddler showing you the same stunt 20 times in a row. After about third time, it’s time to wrap up this talent show for the ungifted. I’m picking up what you’re laying down. Can we just move on? I have.

Now, this Halloween Wreath Add Ons set implies that you need the original set this adds on to. Do you really need it? No. Please see exhibit A above but if you’re a “gotta have it all” kind of person, check out the Beautiful Wreaths Collection by Suzanne Hue.

I started with an A2 card base (5 1/2 inches by 4 1/4 inches) using Mushroom cardstock from Concord & 9th. Most of the cardstock I used is from Concord & 9th and is linked at the bottom of this post. Then I die cut all my elements using various colors of cardstock, all linked below for your convenience. I wanted to really highlight the all the die cuts with a fun background, so I used the Spider Web background press plate on some white cardstock. I did not ink up the press plate because I wanted it to be subtle. Then I used the second largest Essential Arches die to cut an arch out of the background panel. I adhered my background to my card base using Art Glitter Glue and then placed my assembled die cuts. To finish off the card front, I used Moonlight Iridescent Confetti Mix from Trinity Stamps.

For the inside, I used the same Essential Arches die cut and placed the candy pieces across the bottom. Then I added the ribbon and some bats to the top to fill out the blank space a bit more. This isn’t a bulky card so adding die cuts to the inside doesn’t cause any issues.

This was a fairly clean and simple card. The die set is so cute and fun! I hope this gives you some Halloween card inspiration. I appreciate you stopping by today. Now go get creative!
