Pinkfresh Studio – Simple Card with the Beautiful Branch Collection
Hello again, friends! Today I have a really simple but beautiful card. When I saw the Pinkfresh Studio May release, I fell in love. It was hard not to just add everything to my cart and check out before my good sense kicked in. However, I knew I had to have this Beautiful Branch set in all the things. Stencils, dies, stamps, press plate…all of you get in my cart! Not only that, did you see the Decorative Frames press plate and dies? Ugh! So good! That’s definitely one of those products you will use over and over again.

This card came together so quickly, and I was kind of blown away. The Beautiful Branch press plate foiled perfectly, and the stencils made coloring a breeze.
I made an A2 card base (5 1/2 by 4 1/4 inches) using Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb cardstock. For the focal image, I used the press plate to foil with Glimmer Hot Foil in Blush. Then, using the coordinating stencils, I colored the image with Concord and 9th Creamsicle and Eucalyptus inks. If you don’t have a Waffle Flower grip mat, RUN and get one now. Especially if you like to stencil. I use the 6.5 x 8.5 size and it really grips your stencil, so it doesn’t slide around on your paper, and you get great results. HIGHLY recommend.
I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Branch stamp set in Versafine Onyx Black ink after temporarily placing my focal image on the panel to determine placement. Then I created some splatters using the Pebble ink from Concord and 9th with a little water and paint brush.

Now for the frame. I used the recommended cotton cardstock from Spellbinders for use with the Betterpress system. You want to feel good about yourself? Get a Betterpress system. The results are fantastic with almost no learning curve. I used Concord and 9th Pebble ink on the press plate and, while not the recommended ink to be used, it came out fantastic.
I adhered the frame to my card panel and then used cardstock from Concord and 9th in the same color of Pebble behind the frame to really make it stand out. Then I popped up my focal image with foam squares from Simon Says Stamp. Finally, to finish up the card, I used Glass Slipper confetti from Trinity Stamps as embellishments.
I am so happy with how this card turned out! I hope you’ll check out the products from Pinkfresh Studio and find something that inspires you. Thanks for stopping by today. Now go get creative!
