Mass Producing Halloween Cards – Sheetload of Cards Style
Hi friends! Clearly I’m on a Halloween kick lately. As I sit here writing this post, I’m watching Practical Magic. One of my favorite movies to watch when spooky season is approaching. For today’s cards, I’m using a Sheetload of Cards template from Crafty Al. If you have lots of patterned paper like I do, her sheetload tutorials are perfect for that. Highly recommend you check her out. You can make multiple cards or just one. For this set, I’m using the August 2025 template.

I followed Crafty Al’s tutorial to cut all my cardstock pieces for all eight cards. I used an old Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up called Monster Bash. Then I set out to cut all my die cuts from the Scaredy Cat Lovely Layers set from Honey Bee Stamps. I used cardstock that matched the colors in the patterned papers. It was A LOT of die cutting but I really enjoy paper piecing. The repetition in assembling is almost therapeutic for me. I assembled each image with liquid glue and then set them to the side.
When you’re mass producing, organization is really important or you can get overwhelmed. As I was die cutting, I kept all my pieces in a Craft Stax large tray from Spellbinders. That kept me from losing any of the small pieces and made it easy to transport back to my desk once I was done with all the die cutting……5 business days later.

I followed the PDF guide for assembling the patterned paper panel using all my pre-cut pieces. Again, organization is key here. You can easily mess up your hard work if you don’t pay attention. I glued all my pieces down to all eight of my panels and then it was time to place the images. It’s kind of hard to tell because the images take up so much space, but I have a vellum circle in the center of each card. Then on top of that circle, I glued down my cat using liquid glue. I popped my pumpkin up on foam squares and then glued my spider on the top left of the pumpkin.
For my sentiment, I used the Hocus Pocus stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps. I love this set because it has a few different font styles and the sentiments are larger. For the front, I chose the Trick or Treat sentiment and stamped that eight times on to Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black ink. Then I die cut those using the coordinating dies. I popped the sentiment up on the card front using foam tape as well. For the final touch, I used the Black Dot embellishments from Trinity Stamps.
