Creating a Set of Cards – September 2025 Sheetload of Cards
Hi friends. Today I’m sharing my take on the Call Me Crafty Al September 2025 Sheetload of Cards. If you haven’t heard of these card templates, you should definitely check out her YouTube channel. I decided to go with some fall colors and a pack of paper I’ve had for years. It’s beautiful and I never really had the heart to cut it up but I thought this template worked really well to let the paper shine.

This paper pack is an oldie from Stampin’ Up called Blackberry Beauty. I love the colors in this one plus it has some sheets with gold foiling. The browns and deep purples reminded me of fall. I grabbed some cardstock to match the lighter browns in the paper which is Cinnamon Cider. Picking two 12×12 sheets of patterned paper, I cut all my pieces as instructed in Crafty Al’s template. Next, using liquid glue, I adhered those pieces and assembled my card bases.
In this pack of paper, there were also ephemera pieces that I decided to use to create focal points on my cards. I also grabbed a sentiment set from Pinkfresh Studio called Here For You. This bundle has a press plate, stamp set and coordinating dies. I used my Spellbinder Glimmer Hot Foil machine to foil the sentiments with the press plate. I used gold foil and Hammermill Color Copy Cover 100lb cardstock to make eight different sentiments and then cut them out with the coordinating dies. I really like the dies because they cut really close to the sentiment. It’s just a more polished look to me. I also cut two additional layers of each sentiment from the same white cardstock to glue to the back of each foiled layer. That created some dimension without needing to use foam.

I grabbed my prepared sentiments and ephemera to start assembling my cards. There were two of each ephemera piece so I kept it simple and made two of each design only changing the sentiment. I really only used foam adhesive on the owls. Everything else I adhered down with liquid glue. Once I adhered the ephemera to each card, I got out my Gold Coin embellishment mix from Trinity Stamps. I placed a few of those on each card to finish out my card fronts.
For the inside, I just cut a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb cardstock and cut that 5 1/4 by 4 inches. I didn’t put a sentiment on the inside because I want to give these cards as a gift set and I’d like the recipient to be able to cater that to whomever they send it to. I did use my leftover gold ephemera pieces to embellish the inside of each card. You can see how I used those in my process video linked below.

I do love mass producing cards. It’s kind of therapeutic in the repetition. If you enjoy making multiple cards at once like I do, I encourage you to check out Crafty Al’s channel on YouTube. Her Sheetload templates are very easy to use and you can finally use that patterned paper you’ve been hoarding for years. If you’d like to see my process video, you can check that out below. As always, thanks for stopping by today. Now go get crafty!
